Censoring myself for once

I was seriously going to post a long entry about some recent IUSTV-related stuff, but I decided I’d better not. Don’t want to throw grease on a fire, no matter how dumb a fire it is. If you want to know (you might already), just ask me. My feelings regarding it, however, can be summed up by my classic phrase “Nobody likes uppity bitches.”

I’ve seen this picture/book many times, but I just thought I’d share it. I’m sure I’m not the only one who finds it a little….weird. hahaha. Kakashi, what are you doing!?

Anthony’s Facebook picture rules

OK kids, Facebook is really popular nowadays, because everyone wants something else to distract themselves from schoolwork. With that, here is a short rant…I mean guidelines for your profile pictures on Facebook. Agree, disagree, I don’t care. Well, just agree:

1) Drinking pictures – Well la-ti-da, you drink! Aren’t you special? (the answer is NO) No one needs to see a stupid picture of you with a beer bong, a bottle, or a red dixie cup in your hands. Actually, they’re boring.
2) Celebity pictures – Everyone knows at least someone with a digital camera, so put a REAL picture of yourself up; there are no excuses. You’re not MC Hammer, you’re not that metrosexual from the OC, and you’re most definitley not Brittany Spears.
3) Big pimpin’ pictures – Putting a picture of yourself with 3 or more people of the opposite sex doesn’t make you look cool. It makes you look like a huge dork.

That’s it for now. I thought I had more, but those 3 just about cover it. I even clicked through a few pages of “my network” to see what pictures sucked. Note that there are always exceptions, mainly if you’re only breaking one of the rules for comedic purposes. If you’re breaking the rules however, just realize that everyone who looks at your picture (especially those who arent your friends) thinks you’re a huge tool.

I almost forgot this one:
4) Naked pictures – If you’re a guy or a non-attractive female, don’t put near-naked pictures of yourself up. Radez, this means you.

Wow I really want to go back to Japan. Pretty much my only hope right now is that FAS internship. Maybe I’ll get lucky, but I’m a bit pessimistic.

Kishidan takes over the world

Kishidan never ceases to amaze me. I just downloaded (er, I mean…bought. yeah, bought) their new single, and as it turns out, this song will be the theme for the new “One Piece” movie in Japan. One Piece is this anime about a pirate crew or something. I’ve read some of the comic, never really got into it. Apparently Kishidan is a huge fan of the show (their blog makes it look like Hoshi Granmarnier is the main one. since he’s the big dork of the group, that makes sense). I also found out that Dragon Voice Ayano Kouji, the leader, is also doing a voice in the movie. Kishidan is slowly taking over ever media outlet in Japan, which means that’s another reason why I have to go back. Haha. Oh, and the cover of the CD is Kishidan drawn by the One Piece artists. Awesome:

Pop fiction

It’s the first weekday of spring break (not counting Friday, which I always have off), and here has been my schedule for the last 13 hours:
4AM-8AM reading
8AM-1PM sleep
1PM-5PM reading

I just finished The Da Vinci Code in 2 sittings. Why? I have no idea. I haven’t actually read a real book just for fun in a long time (maybe since the last Harry Potter book?), and I guess I just wanted to finish this one. It keeps stuff moving pretty fast, which I guess let me read it all like that. Still, kind of strange. I’m tired but know I shouldn’t go to sleep now, since it’s evening time. I’m starting to feel a little sick, so hopefully I can shake this off in a few days. Maybe I just wanted to stay up since it’s spring break and I can do it?

But yeah, overall, a good book. Definitley not a classic, but I’m glad I was finally able to see what all the hooplah was about. If you haven’t read it yet, you might as well give it a shot. Oh ya it’s funny that I’ve had this book since Japan, I think I got it from Trevor or someone. And I think he stole it from Molestache. Oops!
